Just for a little while.
Everyone of us is longing for a better day. It feels as if many of us are enduring a long, drawn out script of negativity that hasn’t yet indicated when it will end. We’re all tired and ready for rest.
As we wait for our world to heal, let’s focus on the steps we can take to promote and encourage those first glimmers of hope!
Hope is an emotion that helps us to look to the future with optimism.
Who among us would love to see this vision come true? I’m certain a resounding yes from every reader would be heard if we could hear everyone’s answers.
Unexpected miracles, healings from diseases and the disappearance of evil can all happen! That is, if we make the effort to start the process!
What is that process? The answer begins with me. With us.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Friends, it isn’t going to happen if we expect others to pray and repent from sin, yet we aren’t willing to do our part. We need to lead by example! We need to show God we’re serious in our desire for Him to move on our behalf! We must lay aside the things we know are displeasing to Him. We must be humble! We must pray and seek His face!
Are each of us willing?
When those of us are willing and do our part to get the Lord’s attention on these matters, our honestly and witness of living a life that is pleasing to the Lord will be evident and will begin to affect those around us.
Our witness of love, joy and peace will shine for the world to see. Our testimony of the Lord who wants to help us will begin to impact others. Our neighbors will begin to be reached. Our families will begin to see that hope! Our cities will start to experience the hand of God moving!
And it is then that our hopes and visions will come to life.
Let us continue to put faith and action into our hopes and visions. Let us fully trust in the Savior who wants to bring healing!
And it is then that our hopes and visions will come to life.
Let us continue to put faith and action into our hopes and visions. Let us fully trust in the Savior who wants to bring healing!
